Update 21/12/20

It's been a while since my last post but with 2020 being the way it has been I think it's important for me to forgive myself for things like that! I am continuing to focus work on medieval inspired and religious-esque painting and have decided to put more focus on miniatures and windows.

Following advice from my tutor I will be looking at stained glass and designing windows for non-existent churches to give structure to my practice.

Below is a miniature I painted this semester. I am working at almost half the size of my past miniatures which I think adds more intensity to my paintings. My next step will be to photograph church windows in my local area (Hampshire) and find inspiration in my home landscape.
