Lucy Loydell

Hi, I’m Lucy. I am a landscape painter and recently graduated from Aberystwyth University with a BA in fine art. While at university I specialised in small scale acrylic paintings, ranging from typical locket miniature size to postcards. For the moment I plan to continue working on smaller paintings but perhaps I will branch out in future. Many of my paintings depict real locations near my home in the South of England since I am lucky enough to live in the countryside. I draw a lot of inspiration from my local area, as well as from medieval art, naïve art, ruralism and fantasy fiction. I hope you will join me on my journey to becoming a full time professional artist!
